Funding Results 2023 to 2024

For academic year 2023 to 2024 the Turing Scheme received 619 applications, compared with 520 for academic year 2022 to 2023. 

Applications increased across all sectors. A total of 480 projects were approved to receive grant funding totalling £107,226,123.13 with participants expected to undertake study, school exchanges, and industry work placements in more than 160 destinations around the world.

Organisations including schools, colleges and universities from across the UK will receive funding from the Turing Scheme to provide opportunities for a projected 41,175 pupils, learners and students to study and work across the globe during the 2023 to 2024 academic year, with 24,590 (60%) of the placements approved for funding for participants from a disadvantaged background.

Numbers are subject to change as a result of appeals and as beneficiaries update their project plans throughout the year.
